Shawnee Smith is an American actress, singer and musician. She was born on the 3rd of July, 1970, and weighs 5'3". Smith is most well-known for her role as Amanda Young in the Saw films, and as Linda on her role on the CBS sitcom Becker. Smith was once the frontwoman of Fydolla, a metal band who toured across the US and in Britain. Smith is now half of Smith & Pyle a country desert rock band along alongside Missi Pyle. Shawnee Smith is the daughter of Jim Smith, a former US Air Force Pilot and financial planner, who also worked as an oncology nursing. Smith was born in Orangeburg South Carolina. The family lived in Van Nuys, California. Smith's family relocated when she was a newborn. Her parents separated at the age of two. And her mother then remarried at age eight. She went to Ranchito Avenue elementary school in Panorama City Los Angeles, as well as Madison Jr. High School located in North Hollywood.
